Amber Biology was contracted to design and implement an advanced and highly customized pattern matching algorithm for a novel RNA-based disease diagnostic platform. The startup building this platform had plenty of in-depth expertise in sequencing and sequence analysis, but none of the software tools that are available for this kind of work, were configurable for the kind of analysis that it required.

Amber Biology was tasked with building from the ground up, a custom RNA data analysis pipeline. Using advanced features of the Python regular expression library, this custom platform was optimized for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform and was able to process very large large-scale RNA sequencing data, and successfully identify a unique set of specific disease signatures.
