Cloud-Based Nucleotide Design, Manufacturing & Delivery Portal

Gordon worked as an external consultant to a company developing nucleotide-based therapeutics. In this role, he was the head of product development and design for a cloud-based nucleotide design and manufacturing portal that handled the design, ordering, manufacturing and delivery of novel nucleotides from an external supplier. 

This work included requirements gathering and storyboarding the application to be built in workshops with the various scientists and management stakeholders in the company who would either use the portal, or be downstream consumers of its manufactured products. Gordon was also responsible for all of the User Experience (UX) design and workflow design - wire-framing the portal’s web pages, and developing interaction workflows and test scenarios using a specialized, domain-specific language for describing the software’s behavior.
