Amber Biology gets to sign the NASA TESS Mission plaque

In 2017 Amber Biology had the great good fortune to be hired as a contractor on the NASA TESS mission. TESS, the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, which is due to be launched from Cape Canaveral next month, will search for exoplanets orbiting distant stars - in particular, it will be searching for potential earth-like planets that could be capable of supporting life.

As part of the mission team, Alex and I got to sign a signature plaque which will be attached to the spacecraft. Participating in this project was really a major milestone for our little company and we feel extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to contribute, however minutely, to the field of astrophysics research and the U.S. space program.
